Beauty and the Feast

Two illustrations for an article about on the rise of photographing food.

My approach:

 

I took the idea of the photograph being more important than the actual food. What if we had a vending machine simply consisting of photogaphs of food. The second illustration was an extension of this idea this time using a sushi restaurant.
